Rose Marie Woodworth-Neustadt, 82, of Quincy formerly of Mendon passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017 in Blessing Hospital in Quincy.
Rose was born on November 18, 1935 in Stronghurst to the late Tom and Marie (Kemp) Porter. She married Walter Raymond Woodworth on August 2, 1953 in Quincy. Walter passed away on April 21, 1985. She later married William Neustadt. William passed away in 2003.
Rose was member of the First Christian Church in Quincy. She loved to square dance, cook, read , make baby quilts for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she loved watching the Big Bang Theory on T.V.
Surviving are; five children, Tom (Regina) Woodworth of Iola, KS., Bernie (Susan) Woodworth of Mendon, Larry Woodworth of Quincy, Kristy (Mark) Homan of Ursa, John Woodworth of Marshall, MO.; fifteen grandchildren, Brian Woodworth, Tracy Woodworth, Brian Bailey, Tracy Brown, Matthew Woodworth, Michael Woodworth, Megan Bridgeman, Marinda Lawrence, Lindsey Kramer, Erin Porter, Kelsey Anders, Andrea Holmes, Candace Ditto, Nathaniel Woodworth, Jasmine Burguss; thirty great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Johnson of Phoenix, AZ., Mary Roe of Naperville; six sisters-in-law, Erma Cramm, Eleanor Porter, Bobbi Porter, Louise Wetherford, Jackie Woodworth, June Vincent; three brothers-in-law, Robert Lohmeyer, Eddie Joe Woodworth, Claude Woodworth and one uncle Marshall Woodworth.
She was preceded in death by; four brothers, Lewis, Robert, Richard and Tom Porter; two sisters, Kate Seals, Joyce Lohmeyer; three brothers-in-law, Paul Seals, Duane Johnson, Harold Roe and one sister-in-law, Sandra Porter.
Services will be 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 in the Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon with Reverend Keela Neumann officiating. Interment will be in the New Providence Cemetery near Ursa. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Monday, December 4, 2017 in the Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon. Memorial contributions have been suggested to the North Adams Home, Meals on Wheels or the First Christian Church.
